There are some flowers that gift us beyond their summer presence. Some flowers dry and remain as lovely as they were before. It's weird in a way that after death, they remain as they were when alive. Hydrangeas are that giving a flower.
Beautiful in full bloom, I found I can cut the stem and lay them out to dry with no real effort at all. They will remain as lovely.
And in a few weeks, I will make gorgeous arrangements to decorate my winter home and keep me surrounded in blooms until spring arrives once again.
