        | Prairie BonnetsOur Prairie Bonnet is a close replica of the vintage ones our ancestral grandmothers wore.The Bonnet's body is machine quilted on a thin layer of cotton batting and measures 22" around the face with a 5" ruffle at each end. It measures 5 1/2" inches deep where it attaches to the back piece. It is gathered into the Bonnet body.This back piece allows for enough room to accomodate long hair put up in a bun to keep it clean and away from the sun. Machine wash cold and light dryer.
