Dear Rhubarb, what will I do with you?
I have Rhubarb in my yard, it's very old and grows easily and dependably. I really need to appreciate it more than I do. It's one of those foods that doesn't have a very good place to fit. I don't eat it like a fruit, I don't eat it like a veggie nor meat. It's certainly not a condiment. It really is an ingredient isn't it? I mean, it can go into cake. It can go into strawberry jam. It is great in a chutney.
Apparently, I need more Rhubarb recipes in order to grow my appreciation is this amazing plant that thrives in my poorly maintained garden.
